Cast, crew, and board members are working diligently to prepare the upcoming show at the Postal Playhouse. Edges: A Song Cycle opens June 9-12 and also runs June 16-19.

Edges is a song cycle about four burgeoning adults asking classic coming-of-age questions. Written by Tony nominated Benj Pasek and Justin Paul (DogfightJames And The Giant Peach) in their sophomore year at the University of Michigan, this charming, witty and honest examination of adulthood explores what happens when we are teetering on the edges of our lives.

The songs cover such universal issues as love, commitment, identity, and meaning. Characters deal with confronting emotions, escaping expectations, and deciphering complicated relationships.

Director Shawn Starr says Edges offers the audience a look into various situations and stages of life that relate to most people.  The cast is made up by four very talented actors: Wayne Blum of Westfield, Jill Brown of Le Mars, Megan Connor of Le Mars, and David Young of Sioux City. Joining a talented cast is first-time music director, Levi Rowe and accompanist, Amy Linder. Starr says he is excited to be working with such a talented group of people, and he is also thankful to be working with Kimberly Ross as producer.

Tickets for Edges can be purchased through the LCT box office or by visiting www.lemarscommtheatre.org.  Tickets go on sale for members Tuesday, May 31st  and for the general public Thursday, June 2.  The price of tickets is $15. Cash, check or credit/debit cards are accepted.

Purchase your ticket for this poignant and moving musical before it's too late.  Starr says the talented cast is sure to leave the audience on the "Edges" of their seats.
